Craft Short Fiction Prize

Short Fiction Prize.
Submission Guidelines:

-6,000 word count, maximum
-International submissions allowed
-Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please inform us if your story has been accepted elsewhere
– Multiple submissions are allowed, but each story must be accompanied by a reading fee
– Previously unpublished work only
– All entries will also be considered for publication in CRAFT
– All submissions must be made via Submittable
– $20 reading fee per story
-Contest closes April 30
-Send us your best fiction. We are interested in stories that explore craft. We want stories that linger with us; stories that have an emotional core; and stories that feel fresh and new.

2nd Annual Eliza So Finish-Your-Book Fellowship

 “The goal of the fellowship is to afford two writers the time and solitude to help finish a book that is already in progress. The fellowship includes room and board at Las Vegas’ Writer’s Block in the fall or winter of 2018, along with a $500 food stipend and $400 toward airfare. There is no fee to apply.

This year, in partnership with The Writer’s Block and Plympton, Submittable will offer two fellowships:

2)The Eliza So Fellowship for Montana Indigenous Writers (Final judgeDebra Magpie Earling)”
